Because of the different legal bases under which the data of the owners and their animals were stored, a genuine cross-linking between the Animal Identification Databases  is not possible. Only in the way of superordinate search machines, which give information over it, in which data base an animal is registered and leads up then to the actual inquiry of the owner of an animal, the various databases can be connected.

ANIMALDATA.COM therefore became initial member of EUROPETNET, a FECAVA (Federation OF European Compagnion Animal Veterinary Associations) supported organization, under which more than 50 European data bases unite to the registration of microchip numbers.

Beyond that ANIMALDATA.COM is member of PETMAXX, the microchip search machine of DATA MARS.

The membership of ANIMALDATA.COM with EUROPETNET and PETMAXX is a service for owners of animals, in order to be found  as rapidly as possible as owner of a lost animal also when being abroad.
